Chapter 1333: Shang Xia’s Special Understanding of Star Robes

Chapter 1333: Shang Xia’s Special Understanding of Star Robes

That was a grand formation that touched on Seventh Order energy and the strongest protection for the Spirit Luxuriant World.

Because the grand formation required huge amounts of resources and preparation, the various Elysiums were making their preparations for its deployment.

Many powers of the Spirit Luxuriant World were helping the Heavenly Star Palace develop its Elysium, and now that the Ice Essence Sect silently completed theirs, they would be able to deploy the grand formation much faster than originally planned.

As for the Heavenly Star Palace… Many powerful Blacksmith Grandmasters had gathered there and they even used a huge sum to hire 2 Blacksmith Grandmasters from the Spirit Thistle World and Spirit Tinkle World to craft the Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar and Elysium Boundary Marker that was required for their ascension.

With such a huge amount of resources and manpower, the progress of their Holy Artifacts’ development was impressive. It wouldn’t take long before the 7th Elysium of the Spirit Luxuriant World was born.

Kou Chongxue instructed the deputy patriarchs something after his return before heading to the Spirit Thistle World.

It was said that they received news from the Spirit Thistle World regarding the Star Origin Guards’ battle formation and the Spirit Abundance World’s Seventh Order energy control. He went over for a short discussion of what to do.

As for Shang Xia, he left behind a clone to take charge of matters in the institution. His clone would be responsible for teaching mid to high-level experts and spreading his cultivation ideology and system.

The Tongyou Institution had long since developed more than a single system of cultivation. However, it didn’t matter if they obtained it from other sources… They usually weren’t as complete or safe as what was developed by Kou Chongxue or Shang Xia.

Even so… The development of a completely new cultivation system wasn’t something that could be done in a short period of time. Moreover, everyone had their own path and Shang Xia didn’t dare to claim that his cultivation ideology and system would suit everyone.

His clone was left in the Tongyou Institution, and his true body quickly returned to Star Beast Nest No.2. He left 6 of the 7 batches of Starlight Silk in the institution and he only brought 1 along with him to test out the feasibility of inscribing talismans on them. At the same time, he took away 3 detailed manuals on different levels of the Star Origin Guards’ battle formation.

In the Star Origin Guards, their battle formation was built on the Star Origin Battle Formation Manual. The manual was all-encompassing and it covered their 58 battle formations.

Of the 58 battle formations, 49 were used within a camp where they would be able to utilize whichever depending on the number of experts they had present. The 7 Camp Commanders could use 7 different types of battle formations, and if the Star Origin Guard Commander was present, they could also deploy the mighty combined battle formation that comprised all 343 Star Origin Guards. It was also the basis of their might that could threaten the various worlds. Other than that… The Camp Commanders could also utilize another battle formation that could allow them to utilize Seventh Order energy.

Of course, the manuals came from Feng Ziying and 1 of them was obtained when he was still a captain back then. That manual was the most detailed as it was the battle formation he knew the most about. However, there were 48 other battle formations like it if they wanted to get technical.

The 2nd manual was something he learned after becoming the Sixth Camp Commander, which would allow him to use the battle formation that comprised all 49 people in his camp, and the manual was the thickest. Even he hadn’t studied it completely and was still trying to familiarize himself with it since he got his hands on it not too long ago. He was only able to make some simple adjustments according to the rules of the battle formation.

Even though it was only in its elementary stages, with his cultivation at the first layer of the Martial Void Realm, he would be able to contend against a high-level True Immortal with the support of 48 other members who were in the Martial Dipper Realm.

The contents of the manual were extremely complicated and even Feng Ziying hadn’t learned its core essence. Shang Xia naturally didn’t have the time to do so, and he merely used it as reference material.

What Shang Xia was focused on was the 3rd manual.

The contents of the 3rd manual were the most simple, and it merely contained the instructions of how an individual was supposed to move along his predetermined route in the battle formation.

Even though it was wholly incomplete, the manual was something Feng Ziying obtained in order to utilize the 7 Camp Commanders\' battle formation. It would allow the Camp Commanders, under the lead of the Star Origin Guard Commander, to wield Seventh Order energy and contend against a Sage in the Martial Emptiness Realm.

Each of the Camp Commanders was only given a manual that showed what they were supposed to do, and only the Guard Commander knew the whole thing.

After making some copies, Shang Xia wasn’t the only person who got his hands on the manuals. Kou Chongxue, Sun Haiwei, Ge Qingzhu, and Chu Jia obtained the same copies.

Shang Xia casually browsed through the contents of the manuals before shaking his head helplessly. He decided to focus on replicating the Star Robes before trying anything else.

To be more exact, he would place his full attention on fusing all 7 Variant Formation Talismans and how they could use its power over and over again.

To any Talisman Grandmaster, using the power of a talisman over and over again was something that truly intrigued them. The moment they managed to achieve something like it, they would be able to reach a whole new understanding of the art of talismans. Of course, not all talismans would be able to display its might over and over again, but there were still some that could.

It was a mystery that eluded many rank six Talisman Grandmasters…

However, Shang Xia might really be able to use the opportunity to gain enlightenment!

That was because he already made something like that in the past, even though the actual use was a little different. He developed Talisman Seals!

Speaking of which, his research into them might have slowed, but he never actually gave up on them. He was still trying to develop a rank five Talisman Seal with the last bits of Impaled Stone he had left.

The Impaled Stone that was a giant boulder in the past had pretty much been used up and there were people in the Talisman Hall who were studying other treasures that could be used in its place. They even managed to gain some headway into it.

The cost of replicating treasures that could support low-level Talisman Seals of the third rank and below wasn’t too high, but similarly, they weren’t able to use the Talisman Seal for long. It would shatter after several dozen uses.

From Shang Xia’s understanding, what he needed to do was to pretend Starlight Silk was a material he could use to replace his Impaled Stone. He would inscribe the Variant Talismans on it before turning it into the Star Robe. At the same time, he would use starlight as his ink, and a Star Robe would be something like a complicated Talisman Seal… Once that was achieved, he could unleash the power it contained multiple times…
