Chapter 264: Fighting the leader of the Reaper Organization - Part 1
This illusion made their hearts skip a beat, and they looked at each other with their jaws dropped to the ground.
"S-word Aura," the old man with fire principles muttered in total shock.
"Now, you know I\'m not bluffing," Su Yen said with a knowing smile.
It was as if the previous battle meant nothing to him. With such an ability still in his arsenal, the two old men realized he had never taken the battle seriously in the first place while they were fighting with all their might.

Even though Sword Aura could not compare to the legendary Sword Intent, its effect on every sword attack was not something an ordinary technique could defend against.
On the ground, the old woman was likewise shocked. Previously, they thought they overestimated Su Yen\'s ability but now, they knew they were still underestimating his talent.
Suddenly, Su Yen made his move.
Whoosh!
He disappeared from his post, leaving hundreds of afterimages behind.
His speed rose to another level, shocking the stupefied old men.
Quickly, the two old men recovered from their stupor as they circulated their Qi to the limit to defend against Su Yen\'s incoming attack.
Before they could raise their defense, Su Yen appeared before them and struck his sword at a breathtaking speed, tearing the air to countless pieces.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
In a blink, his sword struck three times.
The old man\'s spear couldn\'t withstand the attack and shattered to pieces.
With his defense opened, Su Yen prepared to finish him off but a powerful lightning palm attack came from the other side.
Bang!
Even though he saw the deadly palm strike, he still kicked the old man in the chest.
The old man\'s bones cracked and shattered to pieces before flying into the distance.
Everything happened in less than a second. With a fluid movement, he turned and swung his sword in an arc.
Whoosh!
With his sword covered in sword aura, the lightning principle seemed to lose its effectiveness.
The sword attack ripped the palm attack in two and continued on its path.
The old man watched the deadly cold blade rushing toward his chest.
\'What the hell?!\' He screamed in his heart.
He knew the effect of the sword aura would make his attack more deadly but he never thought it would be this overbearing.
Quickly, he reacted and shouted.
"Ghost Shield."
An eerily black shield appeared in his hand and was used to deflect the sword attack.
Still, the force from the attack forced him to retreat a couple of steps backward.
He gasped and looked at the ancient Ghost Shield, seeing a web of cracks on it.
Unknown to him, his back was drenched in cold sweat and a bead of sweat dripped from his forehead.
This was the closest he had come to dying since he became a Half-step Nascent Soul expert.
Su Yen looked at the old man, focusing his attention on the ghost shield.
"Useless Trick!" He snickered.
Whoosh!
He pounced on him one more time and attacked. This time he used the skill he got from dying.
"Sword Burial - Deathwrath."
The sky darkened, filled with an illusion of a dead zone.
The old man didn\'t have time to blink when he was covered in the sword burial attack.
Bang!
Shattered.
Ahhhhhh!
The attack hit the old man, shattering the ancient ghost shield to pieces while cleaving him apart.
Till the attack hit him, the old man didn\'t even have an iota of what happened.
In the sword burial, everything was death. It was only when the pain registered did he come out of his trance.
Cleaved into two, the half-completed soul form of the old man escaped from his body and tried to escape.
However, in front of Su Yen, the most useless trick was to escape using the soul.
With a casual wave of his hand, a sigil appeared out of thin air and rushed toward the soul form of the old man.
Before the old man could escape for a couple of meters, the sigil entered his body.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Immediately, it began to burn fiercely from inside out.
He tried to escape from the unknown fire but every effort was futile.
After three seconds, his soul was burnt to a crisp, leaving nothing behind.
In the distance, the second-old man halted in his tracks. His face contorted into dread.
He watched how easily his partner was easily vanquished without even his soul escaping.
He shivered and sucked in a cold breath. Fear and panic gripped his mind like a devil\'s claw.
Previously, he still had an iota of belief they could kill Su Yen but now. He wasn\'t sure anymore.
His chest rose and fell as he turned to look at the old woman. She was the only one that could stop Su Yen from killing him.
"L-Leader…" He called with pleading eyes.
The old woman looked at him without any change in her expression. No one understood her expression.
"You don
\'t need to call her. I saved her for last," Su Yen interrupted, looking at the old man as if he was looking at a dead man.
"Y-You…" He pointed at him, hyperventilating. He was furious, likewise scared.
He wanted to teach this kid the lesson of his life, but he knew better.
"What!" Su Yen asked with deadly cold eyes. "Just die."
Whoosh!
Su Yen disappeared from his spot, moving at dazzling speed.
"Get lost!" A chilling voice erupted from the old woman as he appeared before Su Yen with two sharp daggers.
Bang!
Su Yen didn\'t stop his attack and struck the old woman.
The old woman only took a step back before she regained her stance.
Her face was expressionless. Surrounding her two daggers was a dark mist, reeking of decay.
As for Su Yen, he took over ten steps back before he could regain his footing.
"Interesting," he said calmly. "Now, I understand why you\'re more fearsome than the others."
